I don’t know about you but when I was young I started drinking, i used to recover easily from alcohol. Hangover used to last only for 2 to 3 hours. However when i started abusing alcohol, my hangover lasted for 1 day and I am not exaggerating. It lasted for 2 days also. It was a sign that my body was giving me that I am in trouble. But I ignored it and i kept on drinking. One day came when I was fed up and finally quit.

Let me tell you something about myself. I am a recovering alcoholic and i am not drinking for more than a year now. It was difficult initially however, i overcame this addiction. My family is full of alcoholics and in fact, it is considered good to be that way. In fact, they are proud of being alcoholics. If you have ever experienced anything like this, it means that you have experienced alcohol poisoning.

Many people are admitted to hospital because of alcohol poisoning. If you are okay now that means you are lucky.

The second thing that alcohol does to your body is that has bad effects on your liver. If you keep drinking for many years, you can develop liver disease. The worst liver disease you can get from excessive drinking is cirrhosis of liver. There can be scientific explanation to what is cirrhosis of liver. Your liver cannot communicate with you and you have to use common sense and stop drinking if you are experiencing any kind of pain in your liver. Your liver is on your right side.
